When you select engraving for these medal boxes we would put it on an engraving plate placed on space below where you can see the medal.
This way whether you have the lid open or closed you see the medal and the engraving.
If you want the engraving on the medal, either as well or only, then you must complete the engraving options when ordering your medals.
